R-DATS Consulting (‘R-DATS’) is a research, evaluation, data collection and statistical services firm. R-DATS uses advanced and innovative research, evaluation and statistical methods to gather high-quality data and generate strong evidence for impact and improved policy decisions. We support both local and international organizations, businesses, government ministries and agencies, and non-profits. The research, evaluation and data processing activities at R-DATS Consulting are guided by core ethical principles and data privacy standards of our organization, the organization we work for and the country where we are to carry out the assignments.  

Sectors of Research Interest: Health, WASH, Food Security and Nutrition, Education, Peace and Reconciliation, financial Inclusion and Consumer Protection and Humanitarian efforts.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Position: Graduate Interns in the Data Management

Location: Abuja

Period: Six month

Level of effort: Full Time

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of SPSS or Stata statistical package.
  • Working knowledge of questionnaire programming using ODK, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and related applications
  • Attention to details and accuracy in basic data management
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude to work
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple task and meeting
    with deadlines
  • Graduate degree holder should not be more than 25
    years of age as at last birthday
  • Master’s degree holder should not be more than 27
    years of age as at last birthday

Required Qualifications

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second-class upper division) in any relevant field including statistics, demography, population studies, computer science, mathematics, public health or related field.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage
  • Experience in database development and data management, basic knowledge of Geo-spatial information software (GIS), and monitoring & evaluation and will be an added advantage
